8021 Fuel & Additive Funnel - Diesel

Suitable for use with Diesel Engines

A fuel and additive funnel for use on diesel vehicles fitted with anti-misfuelling flaps, with a long neck design that opens the internal flap to allow emergency refuelling or the addition of fuel additives. The funnel is manufactured from tough polypropylene and there is a notch in the rim designed to fit fuel additive bottles for easier filling. A useful funnel to keep in the car in case of emergencies.

  • Outlet diameter: 24.5mm. For diesel fuel fillers only.
  • For emergency fuelling or adding fuel additives.
  • Manufactured from polypropylene (PP) plastic.
  • Angled, notched, anti-splash rim for easier filling. Total funnel length 165mm.

Een trechter voor brandstoffen en additieven - alleen voor dieselvoertuigen. Voor gebruik in vulopeningen van brandstoftanks die zijn uitgerust met een klep om tanken van de verkeerde brandstof te voorkomen. Gebruik om inwendige klep te openen en in noodgevallen te kunnen tanken uit een jerrycan en om de tank te vullen met brandstofadditieven.

Car fitted with an anti-misfueling flap in the filler neck? These two new funnels from Laser Tools will let you put fuel or fuel additives into your tank.

Around 150,000 UK drivers of cars and vans put the wrong fuel into their tanks every year and this has prompted manufacturers to fit new cars with anti-misfueling flaps — this stops the driver putting the wrong sort of fuel pump nozzle into the fuel tank. But it can also make it difficult to get fuel into the tank in an emergency from a can, or even to put in fuel additives.

These two new fuel and additive funnels from Laser Tools (part numbers 8020 for the petrol version and 8021 for the diesel version) have been designed to open the internal flap in the filler neck and allow fuel or additive into the tank.

The funnels are manufactured from tough polypropylene, the petrol example has a 21mm outlet (the same as the petrol pump on the forecourt) and the diesel version has a 24.5mm outlet. They are available now from your local Laser Tools stockist.
