Removal of oil filters is fast becoming one of the largest vehicle specific tool ranges with three more additions required for this simple task.

Three large manufacturing groups are now relying on new tools to remove their oil filters.

VAG require the new Oil Filter Socket Key (Part 4578) for their diesel engines fitted with Mann Mahle and Knecht filters. Access is restricted and this new tool has 1/2" D for use with standard reach tools.

Vauxhall/Opel require a new tool again with 1/2"D function for use on their 3 litre DTi engines. (Part 4436)

Motorcraft filters on Ford 1.8d/TD, Renault Megane and Kangoo with K engines and R21, Espace, Laguna, R19 with F engines plus Clio, Kangoo, R5, Twingo and Rapid with C engines require a 76mm wrench with 12 flutes and extra long handle for access. (Part 4579)
