New Laser Tools Compressed Air Tyre Bead Seater — delivers a 12 litre blast for fast, reliable bead seating on cars, vans and larger 4x4s

Fitting tyres — particularly larger commercial or 4x4 tyres — can be frustrating when the tyre bead will not seat against the rim. Limited airflow through the tyre valve or leakage around the bead often prevents the tyre from sealing, prolonging fitment and increasing risk of repeated attempts, wasted lubricant and potential damage. The new Laser Compressed Air Tyre Bead Seater (part number 9247), provides a controlled high-volume pulse of air into the tyre/rim gap to force the bead into position quickly and safely, removing the guesswork from challenging fitments.

  • Delivers a rapid, high-volume air blast to force the bead onto the rim where valve-only inflation is insufficient.
  • 12 L tank volume is sized for cars, vans and larger 4x4s — effective on tyres up to 47".
  • Charges from workshop compressed air (87–110 psi recommended) for repeatable, controlled seating without relying solely on valve supply.
  • Simple, robust controls: trigger release, clear pressure gauge and automatic safety valve for safe operation.
  • CE certified and supplied with a standard 1/4" BSP male airline adaptor for straightforward workshop use.
Safety & usage notes:
  • Always wear appropriate PPE (eye and hearing protection) and stand clear of the tyre shoulder. Hold the unit with both hands to prevent kickback from the sudden release of air volume.
  • Observe the tank pressure limits and workshop air supply settings; never exceed the maximum pressure rating.

Getting the bead to seat is one of those jobs that can suddenly turn a routine fit into a time-consuming task. The 9247 gives technicians the volume and control they need to seat stubborn beads reliably, especially on larger tyres where valve-only inflation simply can’t deliver the necessary air volume.
