Laser Tools has recently introduced their Wheel Stud Installer Kit (part number 9185), a comprehensive 10-piece solution engineered to address the common issues of worn, damaged, or stretched wheel studs. Over time, wheel studs are repeatedly subjected to stress from frequent wheel removal, exposure to dirt and debris, and the potential for over-torquing during refitting. These factors can compromise the integrity of the studs, making replacement essential for safe and secure wheel installation.

When new studs are fitted correctly, they ensure proper wheel fitment, preventing vibration and potential safety hazards. In cases where studs are salvageable, the included thread chasers help restore the original thread profile, enabling a reliable and cost-effective repair.

Stud replacement socket sizes supplied: M14 x 2.0mm, M14 x 1.5mm, M12 x 1.5mm, M12 x 1.25mm, covering a range of vehicle applications. Used with the two friction reduction washers to ensure smooth and straightforward installation. The kit also includes four thread chasers to clean and restore existing stud threads, allowing for reuse when possible.
